I've just read the story of Steve, a strongly overweigthed American guy who started a coast-to-coast walk a year ago (weighting about 190kg) from Southern California, hoping to reach New-York. He has already walked 3,700km and lost 52kg. But overall he started to realise, just like many ultrarunners, that his trip could be a quest to a better way of life in a car-dependent society.

Ultra touching.
